BodsCentral Redesign.

Eagle eyed readers who have been to this site before (all two of you) may notice the site has had a bit of a redesign.

The aim is to make the site easier to navigate – especially within Rant ‘n’ Rave, plus there’s a whole new look.

Getting Around.

The new design features a navigation bar at the top of the screen – this enables you to get around the various sections of the site.

On the left, the main content. On the right, section based navigation. In Rant ‘n’ Rave, this even gives you the chance to browse the archive by month, or by category.

On the homepage, you’ll find a set of links so you can see the latest Rant ‘n’ Rave entries and when they were added.

New Look, Same Content.

The new look has many similarities to the old – well the colour scheme is the same.

However whilst the site may look different, the content is still the same – it’s just hopefully easier to find your way around.

Key to making all this happen is Blogging software Movable Type which I’ve set up to integrate with Hitoplive – it was easier than setting up a database system of my own!

MT helps with making Rant ‘n’ Rave’s indexes and has other cool features which I’m going to look at using in the future.

But for now, back to the important stuff – the content…
