This morning Catherine went up north for the weekend, and as such I'm sitting alone in our flat.

As with every other time she's away, I spend some time ttrying to work out is what the worst thing about it is.

Is it the fact that in the flat is no one but me - no one to talk to, and more importantly, no one trying to get on my PC all the time.

Or is it the fact that I now have to do the washing and drying up?

It's a toughie.
