More Beef and Guinness Pie

It’s been over a year since I last ate Beef and Guinness Pie at the Red Lion, but I had it again tonight.

It was worth the wait.

Slightly different in there being no potato, not quite as creamy and the gravy was darker, but the pepper was there as were the carrots, and the overall pie was still quite simply wonderful.

I’m a happy man.
