Little Britain DOG Pondering

Posted on 18 November 2003 in TV Programmes, Television (No comments)

One thing puzzled me whilst watching the excellent Little Britain on BBC Three which ended a few weeks back but is coming soon to BBC Two - why was it shown without a DOG?

Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining! Far from it. But BBC Three's policy is to DOG everything but films, drama and live music. And Little Britain being a comedy is none of those.

It is unlikely it was a mistake because not one episode from the series was DOGged, and I viewed it at a number of different times during its run. Which makes me wonder if there was some kind of special deal done. Are stars and writers Matt Lucas and David Walliams (or indeed someone else on the team) secret DOG haters? Or was it some cunning plan by BBC Three that we don't know about?
