Is there something about owning a house? Something that makes you do things like spend ages in Homebase comparing the different types of tub that you could put it on the balcony.

And indeed then buy a long narrow tub, take it home (stopping off nearby The Bill studios to wonder why they're busy making the street look wet on such a baking hot bay, and then stopping off near a footpath to take some stones for the bottom) and planting herbs in it.

And after all that, it makes you start staining a wooden shelf so that it will match the rest of the wood in the kitchen.

Or is it just me?
