A Day At Work

Published on 7 March 2005 in , ,

Don’t you just love those days when you’re in the middle of writing a long, pretty tedious document that you just want to get out of the bloomin’ way, and then the shared drive where the file sits, dies. In fact it’s the shared drive with all your documents on it, meaning there’s actually very little work you can do?

What do you mean that never happens to you?

Still there was consolation. Whilst sitting here twiddling my thumbs, I got to sign one a lovely piece of paperwork to say something was cleared for launch.

If there was ever a task in my duties that gives me an feeling of gross self-importance, it has to be signing pieces of paper to say something can launch. As a feeling, it really can’t be beat.

As to what it is that can launch, well you’ll just have to wait until tomorrow…
