Some time ago the BBC redid it’s jobs site, and it’s rather handy cos you can save all your details on the site. Once you’ve inputted all your data in the first time, you can re-use it (and edit it if desired).
But that has a flip side that you can review your details and spot stupid errors you made on your last job application.
Like, oh I don’t know, putting "lead" instead of "led"…
Didn’t stop me getting an interview of course, but little mistakes like that don’t look good when you’re trying to sell yourself on a piece of paper. And then finding out about it several months later doesn’t exactly inspire either.
