The Way The Cheeky Girls Were

Date: 12 February 2004
From: <name removed>

I am really enjoying the Thursday evening series 'The Way we Were'. Please would you be able to tell me the name of the beautifully haunting theme music; I know I have heard it before but cannot place it.

Well I wasn't entirely sure, but I've been down into the dusty archives and found out for you. Surprisingly it's an acoustic version of 'We Are The Cheeky Girls' by a band called 'The Cheeky Girls'. Apparently HMV have a couple of thousand copies in their bargain bins if you'd like a copy.

From: <name removed>

i'm seventeen and have a wide range of qualfications in beauty therapy and nails. on monday 1/3/04 i am starting up my own business in a hairdressers in newcastle. with me being so young i thought would like to interview me. shows to encourage and show young people outside and inside schools that anyone can suceed their dreams. i think this will help young people to further their careers and educations. i would be grateful if you could get back to me as soon as you can. thanx, kerry.

You're right Kerry. It would make a good story. We'll send the video truck round tomorrow. Rhe driver doesn't have good eyesight so we might even crash it into the shop if you're really lucky. Can't beat a good news story about a video truck going into a shop. Get a lot of milage out of that one.

If I am out and about and take good photographs of a noteworthy news event or weather photo , what address should I mail it to?

Unfortunatly our local lunny bin closed down the other week, and Tony Hart doesn't appear on TV very often. Have you tried Santa Claus? He might be up for some interesting shots of snow.

Date: 18 March 2004
From: <name removed>

I am trying to find the daily maximum and minimum temperatures for Newcastle upon Tyne city centre from April 2002 until Novemeber 2003. I wonder if you have this information or could tell me where I might be able to find it please?

Oh if only we did! You see, I had every single max and min temperature for Newcastle for every year up until March 2002! Then I got bored and decided that the Metro Centre would be a better place to try. Hot dang!
