Blog File Names
After months of thinking about it, I finally got round to setting the file names that Movable Type publishes out, to be truncated if they get too long. This is no bad thing given that before, URLs were based on the full post name, and some of them got very long.
It wasn’t too much hassle to get it all sorted, and the redirects in place, but it does leave me with some rather odd file names, including one post which now becomes bye_bye_the_bra.live…
On the plus side, truncation is an option - as is setting a custom file name…
