Bods in competition fixing scandal!
In light of the press field day over fake competition SCANDALS!, I would like to publicly announce my own involvement with competition rigging.
Many many years ago, a competition had no entrants and a colleague of mine was friends with the person who ran the competition. So the colleague asked people at work to enter - pretty much guaranteed win a DVD or something.
As it happened, I “won” one of the top prizes, although didn’t take the prize in the end because it was some launch party for some film or computer game or something.
For the record, the competition was run by one Daily Mirror. Website actually. Shame it wasn’t the Mail actually… I could have had a field day with that…
