Roadworks and Boilers

It’s bad enough that thanks to Thames Water’s “infrastructure renewal” programme, that our driveway has been blocked off for nearly two hours - the only driveway on the street to be blocked off incidentally - but thanks to roadworks I’ve been sat working from home all day waiting for a British Gas engineer to come and fix the heating (again!), only for no one to turn up.

Ever since the BBC’s iPlayer’s TV programme download service launched in beta format a few months ago, its use of digital rights management has been a hot topic across various parts of the internet for all sorts of reasons.
On the Pennine Way

It was our second stint on the Pennine Way, having done a day and a half on it back at the end of March, doing Gargrave to Horton-in-Ribblesdale, whilst also doing some walking around Malham on day one, and a circular walk around Horton on day three.
