The completed quest for an £8 refunded

So a recap. In The never ending quest for an £8 refund, Amazon wanted a fax from my paperless credit card company to say that just under £8 hadn’t been refunded to my credit card…

Turns out that in the end, the £8 had never been refunded to the credit card in the first place - they’d refunded it as a gift certificate instead, mainly as the original purchase had been mostly gift certificate based.

Which makes sense. Just a shame they didn’t say this in the first place and that it took goodness knows how many emails to sort it out…
