• Government confirms Jaguar talks - BBC News
  Apparently there's been talks about the possibility for state aid for the car maker. So can someone please tell me why state money should be shoring up car companies, as opposed to another failing company, like, oh I don't know, Woolworths? Any company going down means people lose their jobs - both at the failing company and it's suppliers. So what on earth makes the car industry so special?
