- Yay! The BBC's finally got one of them big searchable FAQ websites!
- My latest BBCi Labs blog post on those annoying "please wait" screens we put up on BBC Red Button
- Oh my word. Please. No. Most modern buses look pretty awful, but this lot look like some of those "visions of the future" from the 1950s where everyone would be wearing tinfoil and living on the moon. This is not a future Routemaster. This is about ruining a design classic. Boris has created the bus equivalent of New Coke.
- "Today's winning design will soon become a much-loved icon of London, replacing the evil cyclist-crushing bendy bus, and tourists will flock from all around the world to ride it. Londoners will once again have confidence in their elected officials, safe in the knowledge that their hard earned taxes aren't being wasted on pointless vanity projects. And residents in the Outer London suburbs will be able to say 'Look, their goes Boris's new Routemaster, it's great to have this noble beast back on our streets again, now hop into the car darling and let's drive down to the shops.'" The ever wonderful Diamond Geezer gives short thrift to Boris's Bonkers Bus Competition.
- Got a HD TV? Got BBC HD? Got it set up correctly? (Don't you dare tell me you've got your HD set top box connected via SCART!) Anyway, there's a testcard now on BBC HD so you can make sure your TV is actually spot on perfect, thanks to that and this blog post.
- The latest tiny computer from Appl^C^C^C spoof ad from Peter Serafinowicz - from his Christmas special on 23 December. I'll be watching!

Have your say
