Fascinating piece from a recent Newsnight showing Robert Peston going to the North East to face his critics over the Northern Rock crisis. One of Robert's points he says to people is that he stands completely by his belief that what happened to Northern Rock, would have happened without his report. And in light of other, more recent bank problems, that's a very hard to belief to argue with.
