  Something that American's haven't heard of can actually appear in Twitter's trending topics - SHOCK!!!!!

• Tennis, a boon to Wimbledon - CNN
  CNN piece about how Wimbledon residents make some extra cash out of the Wimbledon fortnight. Interesting even if the reporter just describes Wimbledon as a quiet suburb and a posh sounding interviewee proclaims there's no hotels in Wimbledon (err... there is one...)... Sadly we're too far from the action to cash in!

  Have absolutely no idea when this launched - never come across it before - but it's a news site updated by the BBC Natural History Unit. Interesting idea.

  Good. If for nothing else than I'm frankly getting REALLY fed up with Barclaycard sending me the confounded things. I've received SIX in the last month alone...

  Ha ha! Hysterical! They want you to click a tickbox before you can "get" the RSS feeds. But all you have to do is just right click and "Copy Link Location" and you're away. Genius! Daily Express. Kings of the Feed.

No hotels !?!?!

I count at least 3, 2 of which are on the way from my house to the station. You can say there are no hotels in Wimbledon Village, but that is not the same thing!

Nice to know the rental rate has dropped... :(
