I always thought ITV selling off SDN - who operate and manage part of the space used to broadcast Freeview - was a silly move. If nothing else, if ITV wanted to be completely shod of its public service remit, it could use its SDN owned capacity to broadcast from instead. Plus with revenue of around £40m this year alone, flogging it for just £200m seemed rather short sighted.

You've probably never heard of Dunston but you've probably heard of Newcastle Brown Ale. Dunston is where they've brewed Newcy Brown Ale since 2005 when the Tyne Brewery was closed. Dunston is in Gateshead, which as you might know, is not Newcastle. But it's close by. Unfortunately when they close Dunston, Newcastle Brown Ale will be moving to Yorkshire. Which is also not Newcastle. A nail in the coffin if ever there was one.
