New BBC row as Blue Peter competition winner revealed as daughter of programming chief – Mail OnlineIn a nutshell – kid enters competition in Spring, and does rather well. Shortly after, dad is appointed to a job in the BBC but hasn’t even started it yet. Cue OUTRAGE of Blue Peter fakery! The non-story is highly amusing in itself, but more so if that reading the comments at the bottom, clearly most of them haven’t actually read the story as about 60% of them act as if dad was working for the BBC all along as they point out that relatives of employees are not allowed to enter! Says a lot about the commenters that does!
