31 October 2003: Pace Your Linking.
People are linking to Pace. I hope they asked permission.
30 October 2003: Visit The Dentist Regularly.
After a four year gap, a broken filling meant I really had to go to the dentist again.
29 October 2003: On The Buses.
I seem to have rather a problem with travelling once the tube has shut so it’s time for yet more epic tales of late night travel ala Bods.
29 October 2003: Post Strike.
It’s been getting on for a week since the postman visited the front door of Bods Towers, thanks to a raft of unofficial strikes that have hit London.
28 October 2003: Page Not Found.
One of my last tasks as a Client Side Developer at the BBC has now snook online.
28 October 2003: More Beef and Guinness Pie.
It’s been over a year since I last ate Beef and Guinness Pie at the Red Lion, but I was not disappointed tonight.
22 October 2003: Broon Ale.
Want a nice brown ale in London? Marks and Spencer might well be the place to visit then.
21 October 2003: Interesting Digital Television Launches.
The BBC has launched News Multiscreen, and EMAP seems to have some big plans, but what they’re not saying. Interactive services on Freeview are really getting interesting.
20 October 2003: Alchemists of Sound
BBC Four told the story of the wonderful Radiophonic Workshop.
18 October 2003: Cough cough, splutter splutter.
I work for five days a week. I get two off to relax and enjoy myself. So why is it I always fall ill at weekend?
17 October 2003: Sick of Spam?
The one spam email subject I love recieving however is about… well spam.
15 October 2003: Thou Shalt Not Link Without Permission.
Some people seem to think hyperlinking can be stopped by asking people not to link to you… Some people need to get their heads out of the clouds…
15 October 2003: Freeze It!
A Sagem DTT set top box has a rather nice freeze frame function, oh yes.
14 October 2003: Mailing Lists….
…sometimes I wonder why I bother
9 October 2003: The Measure of Success.
Paul Hammond recently blogged about the accurate measure of the quality of a site. Apparantly links to content and traffic have nothing in relation to each other. So how do you measure success?
9 October 2003: More Theme Switcher Fun.
The theme switcher now works properly. Honest. Believe me. Please?
5 October 2003: Uxbridge and Back - 1938 style.
A trip to the London Transport Museum Depot today saw more than just wandering around a big warehouse full of signs, trains and buses, but also the chance to take an hour long trip on a 1930s tube train!
4 October 2003: Theme Chooser (and Konqueror’s handling of alternate stylesheets).
A new, and rather pointless theme chooser has been added to the site. Enjoy!
2 October 2003: The Death of the Technical.
Today I struggled with some HTML. Does this set a worrying path to technical oblivion?
2 October 2003: Can I moan about Freeserve any more?
My subscription to Freeserve Anytime account was paid up until 7th October. I cancelled and got written confirmation that my account Anytime account would be deactivated on the 7th October. Today my account was deactivited. Today is the 2nd October.
