Harlech Television (HTV)

Called Harlech, after Lord Harlech (the bloke who founded Harlech Television), the company seemed 'too' Welsh for those English viewers, hence the HTV name. They also had, for many years, a wonderfully, wibbley wobbley jingle and a later one from 1993, back in the days when HTV had a logo that was supposed to look like a TV ariel... Good, eh? So good... we decided not to put a picture of it on this site.
