This website is the sole work of Andrew Paul Bowden, who is the author of the Negbores scripts. All unauthorized reproduction, distribution and sales are prohibited. This site is protected under international copyright laws.

It should also be pointed out that Negbores is in no way related to Pearson Television's Neighbours program. Negbores is intended to be a lighthearted spoof of the Australian soap opera genre. All resemblances to persons, living or fictional, are entirely coincidental. Honest

About The Scripts

The original thirteen scripts were written in Spring 1997 by Andrew Paul Bowden and were subsequently altered slightly for the web by Andrew Bowden in July 1998, with some minor revisions in April 2000.

Episodes 14-17 and the first part of episode 18, where written in August 1999, with the rest of episode 18, and episode 19 where written in April 2000, all by Andrew Paul Bowden.

Special thanks go to Karen McMullan (for emailing a comment which helped to create this whole series and who accidentally created Paul Bobbinson), to Chris Morris (for giving some inspiration about a possible story line which never was fully developed) and to the wonderful Catherine Redfern for enormous amounts of encouragement and for her character development ideas.

Some credit should also go to my mother who insists on calling Neighbours, Negbores. There must be a quick nod in the direction of Star Wars for inspiring parts of episode 6, to the Naked Gun films and to Enid Blyton to the ideas so blatantly pilfered from them, and of course major credit should also go to me for having such a warped mind.
